The Pilgrimage of Life
with Venerable Soma Bhikkhuni
April 26 - May 4, 2024
Friday, April 26, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Saturday, April 27, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Saturday, May 4, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
We are born, we grow old, we have illness and we die. How we experience this journey determines our extent of suffering or joy. During this retreat we will travel like pilgrims, considering the 4 seasons, the edges of joys and sorrows, loss and gain, growth and change in our exploration of the years… be they few or many.
We will experience the mileposts we’ve encountered and allow for opportunities to re-visit, let go and move into the next and perhaps final chapters of this particular lifetime. Using music, poetry, writing and simple activities, we will journey inward and forward.
Please gift yourself this opportunity to engage in the geography of your life. Any pilgrimage requires time to truly explore the landscape.
Bring: a water bottle, a lunch for our break and a journal to take notes
Dana: Generosity – There will be no charge but rather dana to support the teaching and facility use
