Practitioners of the Jewish faith, Christian believers and Buddhists can benefit from the relation between the mutual tenets, virtues and methods of attainment. The Vietnamese Zen Master, Thich Nhat Hahn said, “… a Catholic priest …. told me Buddhism makes him a better Christian. I love that.” That priest was Father Thomas Keating, creator of the centering prayer movement. Over this weekend retreat, Venerable Pannavati, a Buddhist female monk, former Christian Pastor and worship leader will lead us through periods of inquiry, reflection, and meditation engendering joy and confidence in overcoming the vicissitudes of life.
